Charta

The charter describes what the ReAct initiative is all about. It is both a charter and a commitment at the same time.

1.
qualified

The initiative

ReAct sees itself as a network of business and academic leaders from various industries with the goal of promoting the positive overall social development of Germany with a strong commitment to Europe.

2.
personal

The commitment

First and foremost, ReAct brings people together. Of course, each member of the initiative also stands for the company/organization he/she leads. But in the initiative, members are primarily personally engaged.

3.
responsible

The whole

ReAct wants to take responsibility. For our country and for Europe, for stronger and weaker people. The goal is to create positive conditions and development opportunities for the whole society.

4.
overarching

The approach

ReAct is a cross-sector initiative of the German business community. It follows its own agenda, not the interests and positions of individual companies or economic sectors. ReAct acts beyond particular interests and is not an association or lobby organization.

5.
inclusive

The dialogue

ReAct conducts an inclusive dialogue. The ReAct participants set impulses and develop goals. They do this together with different stakeholders and experts in society by offering a dialogue and integrating a broad range of diverse perspectives.

6.
innovative

The shoulder-to-shoulder approach

ReAct participants take a new approach. They launch and support collaboration models in which goals can be achieved faster and more innovatively through diversity and the exchange of expertise. They also do this in close cooperation with politicians.

7.
respectful

The exchange

ReAct promotes a democratic exchange. The focus is on respect for each interlocutor and positions, that are based on facts. ReAct resists misinformation, polarization, and denigration and pursues a process of coordination based on partnership.

8.
integrity

Implementation

ReAct acts with integrity. Participants aim to contribute and “serve the cause.” They strive to have a lasting impact by providing their expertise on substantive issues and also by initiating and implementing to make a concrete difference.

9.
positive

The target image

ReAct believes in the uniqueness of Europe. Built on the foundation of centuries of diverse cultures and a humanistic worldview, Europe is the place where the principle of sustainability is the basis for the future.

10.
value-based

The foundation

ReAct stands for values such as responsibility and tolerance. It supports the principle of solidarity and social care for the weaker and demands performance and responsibility from all citizens for the common good of society. ReAct is supported by the non-profit Werte-Stiftung in Frankfurt/Main.
