Mission
Whoever wants to change something has goals. Those who want to prevent something have reasons.
Due to globalization, digitalization, climate change, and intensified by the Corona crisis, we are experiencing a profound structural change. Economic and societal requirements are becoming increasingly complex and change is happening faster and faster, so that competent, agile and flexible control systems are in demand. The far-reaching challenges require a close alliance between politics and business in order to develop solutions in a new constructive discourse – with the contribution of diverse expertise.
The ReAct initiative is perfectly positioned to meet these urgent challenges, as it brings its extensive experience from various sectors to bear in a trust-based design process with policymakers. To this end, it develops fact-based holistic positions and expands them in discourse with scientists and experts. In addition, it initiates projects and studies to bring topics into concrete application.
The ReAct initiative was launched in 2020 by > 30 top business leaders, scientists and experts with the aim of taking responsibility for social development.

Expertise and skills are crucial building blocks for the performance of our society. Lifelong learning and the teaching of contemporary content and approaches are just as important as attracting global talent.
Technology & Innovation
Digitization of value chains is a first step. However, future viability requires much more: new (data-based) business models, effective transfer of scientific findings to application development, building (startup) ecosystems for leap innovations, and much more.
